This activity didn't have an outcome it was purely to allow the children to experiment with flour, sugar, butter and milk.  It allowed them the time to concentrate, to use their fine and gross motor skills, to use language both with each other and the practitioner.  They were using real tools such as full sized spoons, whisks and crock jugs to pour from.  This activity held their concentration and kept them engaged for a long time.
